IMJ Communications has a rich history, rooted in nearly 30 years of experience in public relations and marketing.
My Story:
I began my career in the automotive industry, working in the public affairs department at Ford Motor Company. After transitioning out of automotive, I joined Olympia Entertainment (now 313 Presents), one of Detroit’s largest entertainment corporations. For seven years as PR Manager and Event Publicist, I led publicity for concerts, Broadway shows, comedy, family events, and sports entertainment across the entetainment corporation's owned and operated venues.
In 2003, I took a brief hiatus and returned to the automotive sector, traveling the country as a product specialist on the auto show circuit. At the same time, I began freelancing in public relations.
The Birth of IMJ Communications
In March 2004, I took the leap and founded IMJ Communications, LLC. Named after my nieces Isabella, Marina, and Julianna, IMJ Communications was born from a passion for storytelling.
As a solopreneur, I help a diverse range of clients across the arts, entertainment, music, film, and local business sectors shine through creative and traditional publicity strategies, including traditional public relations, media relations, social media marketing, and content writing and editing services.
