I’ve always been drawn to storytelling—how it shapes perception, builds connection, and brings brands to life.
My career began in the fast-paced automotive industry before transitioning into live entertainment, where I served as a Public Relations Manager for one of Detroit’s largest entertainment corporations. Working on high-profile events and campaigns, I saw firsthand the power of the right story, told the right way and knew I wanted to build something more intentional and tailored.
That vision led to the launch of IMJ Communications in 2004.
With nearly 30 years of experience in publicity, marketing, and social media, I now partner with clients across entertainment, arts, literary, and small business to bring clarity to their message and strategy to their visibility. Named after my nieces Isabella, Marina, and Julianna, IMJ Communications is rooted in connection, intention, and the belief that every brand has a story worth telling well.
Today, my focus is simple: delivering thoughtful strategy, meaningful storytelling, and PR support that meets clients where they are—whether through consulting, full-service execution, or tools to do it themselves.
Because effective PR isn’t just about being seen—it’s about being understood.
